Le Paon is an antique Flemish Gobelin tapestry, hand-woven in the second half of the 18th century. It depicts a peacock (le paon) within a classic verdure scene, framed by a wide border of roses. Hang it full-length on a tall wall, or let it pool slightly on the floor - my personal favorite.
In good condition with some light wear, consistent with age. As with all antique pieces, signs of age and imperfections are part of their history and are not considered defects. Please note all sales are final.
