Trade Terms & Conditions
Approved trade account holders are subject to the terms and conditions set out below.
A 15% trade discount is available on all Heritage & Heirloom rugs (marked with a badge). The discount is applied automatically at checkout.
SECTION 1 – TRADE STATUS
Trade account holders are approved on the basis that they meet and continue to meet certain qualitative criteria, in order to protect and maintain the image and reputation of Frances Loom.
If an account is deemed no longer to meet these criteria, Frances Loom reserves the right to suspend or close the account with immediate effect.
SECTION 2 – ORDERING
It is the account holder’s responsibility to review their order confirmation and notify Frances Loom of any discrepancies within 24 hours of receipt. After this time, the order will be deemed correct and accepted.
Frances Loom accepts no responsibility for errors not reported within this timeframe.
SECTION 3 – CANCELLATION
It is the account holder’s responsibility to ensure all order details are correct at the time of purchase.
Once an order confirmation is issued, the account holder has 48 hours to notify Frances Loom of any changes or cancellations. After this period, orders are deemed confirmed and may no longer be amended or cancelled.
Once dispatched, all items are non-refundable, with the exception of rugs covered under the Trade Returns Benefit outlined in Section 6.
SECTION 4 – PAYMENT TERMS & SHIPPING
Orders will not be processed where account terms are not being adhered to.
Frances Loom will make every reasonable effort to meet estimated lead times; however, these are not guaranteed and may be subject to variation.
SECTION 5 – RECEIPT OF GOODS
Due to the nature of antique and handmade rugs, variations and irregularities are expected and are not considered defects.
Any significant fault or discrepancy must be reported within 14 days of receipt. Claims made after this period will not be accepted.
Any claim for goods dispatched but not received must be made within 3 days of the expected delivery date, otherwise no liability can be accepted by Frances Loom.
SECTION 6 – RETURNS OF GOODS
TRADE RETURNS BENEFIT
As a benefit of the Trade Program, all rugs purchased under a trade account are eligible for a full refund when returned within 7 days of delivery. This applies to all rug collections, including Heritage & Heirloom pieces.
All returns must be pre-authorised. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery to request return approval and shipping instructions.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Items must be returned in their original condition. We cannot accept items that are damaged, soiled, or altered.
FINAL SALE ITEMS
Our Home Decor collection - including soft furnishings, art, and antiques - is sold on a final sale basis and is not eligible for return or exchange.
Please note that all purchases made during a sale are final sale and cannot be returned.
SECTION 7 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY & CONFIDENTIALITY
The account holder agrees not to disclose any confidential information relating to Frances Loom to any third party without prior written consent.
SECTION 8 – RESELLING
Resale of Frances Loom products without prior written approval is not permitted. This includes, but is not limited to: furniture, stockings, rugs, and pillows.
Accounts may not market products as a “collaboration” with Frances Loom without prior consent.
If an account is found to be in breach of this section, Frances Loom reserves the right to suspend or close the account immediately and pursue further action where appropriate.
SECTION 9 – RELATIONSHIP OF PARTIES
Nothing in these terms shall be construed as creating a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship between the parties.
SECTION 10 – ASSIGNMENT
The trade agreement may not be assigned or transferred to any third party without the prior written consent of Frances Loom.
